We are excited to welcome Dr. Lorynn Westad to the Passion Dental Team! Originally hailing from just 45 minutes outside Grande Prairie, Alberta, Dr. Westad’s journey in the dental field began with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta. She further pursued her passion for dentistry by completing her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney, Australia.

With a diverse range of experience that spans from Yellowknife to rural communities in Alberta, and even Australia, Dr. Westad has now made Calgary her forever home. She holds a deep belief in the holistic significance of dental health to overall well-being. Her commitment to providing high-quality patient care and fostering community ties is evident in her practice.

Dr. Mashud Ahmad is a dedicated general dentist at Airdrie Family Dentists who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Raised in Alberta, Dr. Ahmad completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Calgary before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta.

Now back in the Calgary area, Dr. Ahmad is excited to serve the Airdrie community with a gentle, compassionate approach. He believes in building genuine relationships with his patients, taking time to understand their concerns, and creating a welcoming environment where they feel heard and respected. As a conservative dentist, Dr. Ahmad focuses on prevention, patient education, and personalized treatment planning. He has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry and is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
